➤ Harald Fetveit is one of the veterans on the Norwegian noise scene, with his first experiments dating back to the mid-80's. He has been through several musical phases. Today he plays analog electronics with feedback loops, contact mikes and custom made circuitry. Some of his gigs are massive and rapid, others quiet, elaborated and some times stretched out in time, depending on context and available equipment. He focuses on the live situation, so his releases are sparse: with John Hegre, Lene Grenager, Mattin, Lucio Capece, Dario Fariello and Agnes Hvizdalek. He also performed live with among others Taku Unami, Junko Hiroshige, Jacob Felix Heule and Hankil Ryu, and toured in Europe, Russia, South Korea and Japan. Fetveit's work also includes sound installations – currently with a focus on hearing impaired people, with sound pressure levels above 130 dB. He has also been running a concert series for noise, improv and experimental music, Dans for voksne, since 2003.
➤ Kiran Arora performs using an array of tape recorders and cassettes, processing field recordings, synthesizers, guitars, audio test equipment, and other bastardized sounds into a caustic mixture of electroacoustic noise. He also operates the label Idiopathic Records.
➤ VX Bliss is the audio project of intermedia artist Ginny Benson, who uses analog synthesis and sampling to construct densely layered electronic noise. VX Bliss releases and performances are often made in tandem with experimental video to create an immersive experience of abstract color and sound.
